Day 19 - Walsh, Ab - Calgary, Ab
,

Nellie, George, and Jolene are all up with the sun to see us off. We have a great breakfast together and a gripping conversation, thanks to another house guest, Julia, who joins us. Our first stop in Calgary is the Telus Science Center where we meet with CBC, The Calgary Sun and CTV. Then it's on to the airport to pick up team members Mario Bilusik and Rob Stoyan to do some repairs on the BMS (battery monitoring System) of the solar car.

Air Canada / Jazz offers to let us park by their hangar for the night so the men work away into the wee hours of the morning. We set up floodlights just outside the main entrance of the building. Mario who developed XOF1 custom BMS work on it. Since it require some delicated soldering, he was offered the opportunity to use one of the soldering stations to get the delicate work done. Wile Evan and Marissa get to check out their next ride inside the hangar!

At about 03:30 am the team decided to take a break, get some rest.

Special thanks to Jazz maintenace department in Calgary. Thank you guys!
