Day 17 - Moosomin, Sk - Moosejaw, Sk

Rain and bad weather delayed our departure but provided some much-needed rest. Day 17 saw a stop in Regina where we met football fans, twins, and one patient reporter named Cheryl. We left Regina and made our way to "Little Chicago:" Moosejaw, Saskatchewan. Contrary to popular belief, there are no moose in Moosejaw. (Perhaps if we look hard enough, though, we will find Evan's Ghostbuster pack that he lost way back when.) There are, however, two very nice people named Mark and Joanne Kuhn, who offer us the use of their showers and internet - two luxuries we can't live without. They have one of the best-decorated houses we've seen, and a good-looking Citron in the driveway too.

XOF1 set up to charge early in the morning. It was placed next to the building to protect it from the wind wich was very strong.
A quite little praire dog had its home next to our trailer. Hope it didn't the overnight visitors.
In regina, Marissa and Evan being interview by Cheryl (CBC radio Regina).
The brand new road really stood out next to what seems to be an open salt mine.
Racing a train, that was one of the longest trains we have ever seems, there must been over 120 wagons, lots of grains!
In Moose Jaw, XOf1 and a giant moose statue far on the backgraund. So far the only moose we've seen was this is immobile and 20' tall statue.
At the Safeway parking lot downtown Moose Jaw, Evan reading a book and Marcelo catching up on his journal.
Mark Kuhn and XOF1 by his garage.
